Parker Palm Springs Maternity

Rebecca + Jim are a super cool and stylish couple. I’ve shot everything for them (including awesome Christmas Cards every year for the past seven!) Sometimes I forget that we met because I photographed their wedding now that we are real friends.

They are having a baby and I couldn’t be more thrilled for them!

After asking for permission to the shoot a the Parker Palm Springs (they said it was fine) they still kicked us out but not before we got some really fun shots.

Then we went to the Windmills.

Orange County Maternity Photography: Erin + Jorge

Erin + Jorge have been married almost exactly three years and now they are having a baby! It’s so fun photographing all her events: boudoir, engagement and wedding! I absolutely love that photography brings me into the lives of such great people.

We photographed this maternity at the same place we shot their engagement, Oneill park in Orange County. It’s a beautiful location with amazing trees (I think are Oak) and gorgeous views.

Thank you Erin + Jorge for having me photograph yet another important moment in your lives! Congratulations on this new little one!

Orange County Maternity Photography: Monica + Evan

Evan + Monica are our old neighbors, responsible for the gift that keeps on giving: our beloved canoe! It was so much fun to get to see them and document this special time. They are so cute and excited! And I am excited for them!

We shot this maternity session one of my favorite places in Orange County. There’s something so magical about maternity sessions for me. It must be the new life, the excitement and energy of the couple that inspires me.

It started out being a pretty gloomy day and then towards the end, the sun peeked through and it was the most gorgeous, moody light I’ve shot in a long time. I love how the darkness of the clouds contrasts the the warm sunset light.

It was so cute how Evan picked these flowers for Monica, so we used them in the shoot.

Orange County Maternity: Alicia + Russell

Alicia and Russell both work at Mariner’s Church, which happens to be my church. I’ve seen Russell play guitar on stage but never met them until my client-friend Jenn referred them to me! (She also works there.) I love small world connections.

Their energy, excitement and the light was my inspiration!
