Model Shoot

This weekend I got together with my very talented friends Amy (Makeup Artist) and Melody (Hair by Melody) and three models for this fun shoot. And I have to say, we all ROCKED the heck out of it! Here’s another LONG post!

Ally. This style fit her personality perfectly!

Yummy!

Shannon. The camera loves her!

I adore this hairstyle!

One of my faves from the shoot.

Heavenly and Shannon.

Heavenly was perfect as our rocker chick.

Getting the girls ready.

Holga Film…

Sometimes I like to use my toy Holga camera for fun at shoots. And I finally got two rolls developed (I usually forget what’s on it so it’s a fun surprise!) And it’s always a surprise how they come out too! You never know what to expect. Most of the time only a few from each roll come out. But look how cool these turned out:

Two from 35mm film:

This is from Patti & Dan’s Engagement.

Christy & Brian’s Engagement.

From 120 Cross-processed Film:

Rochelle & Ernesto’s wedding.

Two in San Fran with Jackie & Joe.

I love this one!

Leilah & Zack, Engagement at the Tin Lizzie

Our plan was to do Leilah and Zack’s shoot in L.A but it ended up being impossible for us all to get there at 6ish (Thank you L.A traffic!) And I was a little disappointed because we had some really cool ideas. But Zack works at this super rad bar and they thought it would be cool for a shoot. And they were SO right! It was absolutely perfect in every way. And we had full access to do whatever we wanted. So really, THANK YOU L.A traffic!

We are ALL about finding places that reflect the couple and this is it!

And yes, that is a Diane Arbus photo.

Gotta have drinks when you’re in a bar.

My favorite shot that I made.

The reflection in the bar.

Leilah and Zack,
Thank you for such an amazing night! We heart you guys!

Come back for part two of their shoot later this week!
