One of my favorite restaurants in Costa Mesa is Eat Chow. My boyfriend would always take me there for breakfast and it became a tradition and special place. We’ve gone there so much over the last couple of the years we became regulars. So we were graciously invited to this special wine night, hosted at their Newport Beach location. Just imagine the most amazing six course meal, along with special pairings of wine from Goldschmidt Vineyards… Ridiculously delicious.

Last Summer I had an opportunity to donate my services to Pujols Family Foundation. Their goal is to help improve the lives of those living with down syndrome. I’ve always had a heart for those with down syndrome and even tried getting a part time job tutoring right out of high school (but it never worked out). It meant a lot to me that I was able to donate photography to an organization that does special events like this.

The event was all about giving families a special night of fun at the ESPN zone at Downtown Disney. They played games, ate food and spent quality time with others that really understand their unique situation.

My cousins are beautiful, fascinating subjects so I had to photograph them on our girl/family trip in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. I also shot some film of this session so come back soon to see how it turned out!

Dear Amelia,
I met him on the beach.


I was taking an afternoon stroll, saying good-bye to the summer, watching out for surfers and tourists along the sand.



I saw him in his pinstripe swimsuit walking toward me. It was just like you said…It was almost like a dream.

He walked up slowly and smiled….


Ah Life is Sweet.

We walked by the beach and even had candy. We laughed.

There is an intensity about him and when I am with him I feel….cherished.

 He is suave but also kind-hearted. We talked for hours and I feel like I learn more about myself the more I know him. It is just like you said. There is something indescribably about it. I feel free, beautiful, completely myself.

He told me that I was not like anyone else, that I had consumed his thoughts. His eyes that told me he meant them.




And then last night, he danced in my dreams. It feels like it is always summer here. I will write again soon my friend.
