LA Engagement photography: Lauren + Nathan

Nathan emailed me about something he had in mind: proposing to his girlfriend when they arrived back at LAX after meeting his family in Canada. What an amazing proposal! So I met him at LAX, we text back and forth until he knew I was ready to shoot and proposed! Right then and there by baggage claim. She was beyond surprised and happy, as you can see. One of the coolest things he did was give her the fortune from their first date (he saved it and she didn’t know.) It’s says, “Take that chance you’ve been considering.” Could it be more perfect?!

I am soooo sooo happy for this wonderful couple! Thank you so much for having me do this Nathan!

Proposal Photography Preview

Last weekend I got to shoot the sweetest proposal at LAX.. There’s a few more pictures I want to post, but here’s a few until then.

He saved the fortune from their first date.. It says, “Take that chance you’ve been considering.”

Los Angeles Photography: Niki + Jeremy

Niki and Jeremy are super cool, fun foodies after my own heart, so it was perfect to eat our way through LA. We started at Bottega Louie with delicious macaroons (which they shared with me.) So good and I don’t even like macaroons that much. Our next stop was the Pie Hole and they also shared a bite of macaroni and cheese pie, which was amazing. Pie = good, Macaroni and cheese = good.. what’s not to love? They even sent me home with amazing goodies; sharing is caring! Can’t wait for all the yummies at their wedding.

Thanks Niki + Jeremy for sharing some delish food and good times with me!

Shot with my iPhone.. The treats they gave me! My client-friends are the best.

Rachael + Cameron Doggy Engagement

I’ve known Rachael for a long time and done lots of shoots with her and for her. She is the woman behind Charmed Beauty. So I was so happy to hear she found her love, Cameron. They actually went to school together a long time ago and then reconnected. It’s funny how often that happens with couples.

They wanted to include their dogs and I’m so glad we did. It’s so cute!

Happy Independence Day!

I thought it would be fitting to blog this beautiful little shoot I did of this man, Nic coming home to his wife, Shayna after 8 months of service. When Shayna told me about doing this, I was so excited and honored to be included in this experience.

The anticipation and excitement of this was making me teary eyed too! She kept checking the flight to see exactly when it was coming in. She’s holding his wedding ring, that she got engraved.

When she sees him coming down the stairs.

Thank you so much Shaya + Nic for letting me be part of this wonderful experience!
