Erin + Jordan were featured on Inspired by this blog today! It was the perfect post for July 4th. We shot them at my parent’s barn, with chickens and goats and it was so fun!

Melanie + Steve decided to do their shoot in Santa Monica. We shot at this super cool restaurant and bar called Sonoma Wine Garden, which had so many really great places to shoot. I love when couples choose places they feel fits their personalities.
Part 2 of the Griffith Park and Observatory shoots.
This is when it starting getting crazy at the Observatory. They closed it so we had to switch locations.
This is where you can start to tell the light is different because of the eclipse.
This couple love to dance so I had to shoot it. I love this shot because her skirt is the only thing in focus.
Last month I did the marathon shoots I announced at Griffith Park and Observatory. And I happened to schedule it for May 20, which was also the day of the eclipse. Only I could accidentally do that! Around 5, the light started getting really hazy and different. Griffith Park was insane and we had to leave and do the last 3 shoots at another Griffith Park location, which you’ll see in part two. It was a fun/crazy/great day!
It was so nice to meet all of you and see some familiar faces as well! Everyone was awesome!

Part 2 coming soon..
Samara + Patrick were the lucky winners of the free engagement givaway that I did for the Vintage Glam Bridal Show.
They wanted to do their engagement photography in the swanky restaurant and bar, Bugatta Restaurant on Melrose in West Hollywood. They got permission from the manager and we had the entire back patio to shoot in. We shared food, drinks and sooo many laughs! This couple couldn’t be more enthusiastic and lively. They are both actors, so it was fun working with all of the expressions they’re able to convey. And they kinda like each other, a lot.
Fun fact: On top of both being actors: Samara Bay and Patrick Hayle they are both only children. Fun actor fact: Patrick almost got a role in one of my new favorite shows, Magic City but he looks too much like Jeffrey Dean Morgan! Darn!
