Vintage Glam Bridal Show

Last weekend Dana Grant Photography was one of the vendors at the Vintage Glam Bridal Show. It was super last minute when I heard about it. I never know to expect with Bridal Shows. I did one once and brides were backing away from my table like my images scared them! That was five years ago when my style was not popular. So it’s always interesting to see how it turns out. In this case, we received a ton of positive feedback about our booth, which my partner in crime helped me set up. I could not have done it with out his help! I paid him in snuggles.

We met some amazing brides, couples and vendors! Everyone loved our booth and my style. They kept asking if we brought all of my vintage items to the wedding! Funny. I guess we can!

This is what my boyfriend made. He also found the window sills that I’ve been using to display my Polaroids.

This is basically my whole living room!

My business cards that I made. I worked so hard on these so it was nice to hear all the positive feedback including, “These are effing awesome!”

I just loved this setup by Kismet Event Planning and Design and the model is wearing Dolly Couture, which are super fun vintage inspired dresses! We ended up doing a mini shoot. Makeup was done by BeYOUty by Jhoselyn.

And this cute vintagey gal, Juanita Chase just happened to be looking like this so we threw her in for a couple shots.

I wanted to put a link also to some of the awesome vendors that I was able to speak with:
Kismet Event Planning and Design

BeYOUty by Jhoselyn.
Amazing custom invitations by Studio EQ (like on wood, what’s inspiring me right now)

Enfianced Write up + Feature

The thing that means the most to me and how I judge my sucesss is based on my client’s thank yous. It doesn’t mean anything unless 1. Clients are happy and 2. Not only are they happy but they had a good experience. Along with that, it’s fun to hear how other people describe my work and personality. And this one is so right on. I just love it! From the Enfianced blog:

Orange County based Dana Grant’s tag line is “fantastical photography for amazing people.” We think that sums it up pretty well. Her work is creative, sometimes a little quirky, and always beautiful. She does crazy cool things with light and texture and always seems to come up with shots that we never could have expected.

It also apparent through her work how much she loves her job and her clients. Despite being featured in fancy magazines and blogs all over the world, Dana seems 100% friendly and down to earth. Just the kind of person we would want around on the big day.

And they also featured Lindsay + Jonathan’s wedding from The Parker Palm Springs

Jessie + Colin at The Sinatra House Featured On Hi-Fi Weddings!

Jessie + Colin’s wedding from The Sinatra House was featured on this wedding blog called Hi-Fi weddings that has so much to do with music. It’s such an important part of the wedding day and so much thought goes into picking the perfect songs. And Jessie + Colin definitely put a lot of love into their CD booklet invites and record seating charts.

I loved doing the photography for this wedding at the The Sinatra House!
