Captain Gully! I LOVE this shot of him!
For the next week I will be in Hawaii visiting my sister. While she’s at work I’m going to read books on the beach, think of ways to better my business and do some personal reflection. Fun and photography are on the agenda as well. I’m so looking forward to it!
if you need to get ahold of me, I will be available by email: dana@danagrantphotography.com or if it’s urgent, call me: 951-283-2002.
I took these in 2007 when I went to Hawaii last time. The little town is called Kailua.
Working on some new blog posts but for now here’s two pictures.
I love the light after it rains. It inspires me.
This was one of the most touching family sessions I’ve ever shot. Lisa contacted me and said that her dad has cancer and they wanted to get pictures very soon. So I decided to donate a shoot to them, since they already have so much to worry about. And I’m so glad I did. These are the kinds of things that remind me how important photography can be.
They are such a sweet and loving family that I couldn’t help but cry as I looked through the pictures. The little things like a smile, a laugh or touching hands is frozen in time. It shows us how it’s not really a little thing at all.
Dear Gibson Family, thank you so much for sharing this with me. I hope these pictures will be a reminder of how great your family is.
It was really sweet to see how each kid has a special relationship with their dad.
