I LOVE what Brittany said about how she felt when seeing her engagement pictures!

I can tell you that your pictures were a huge breath of fresh air in the midst of all that madness. They are wonderful. I couldn’t help but smile as I looked through them. I’ve often wondered what my face looks like when I get that warm “I-have-so-much-love-inside-me-it-feels-like-I-might-explode” feeling. And there it is… right on film, for me to keep forever. I really truly am so grateful to have such a gifted photographer… one that is able to capture “us”.. even when we are being our somewhat shy & awkward selves, you make it work… and you make it work beautifully . Long veils? Yes please!

I was feeling inspired by this beautiful cloudy day and this is what happened.

It was such an honor shooting Gabrielle + David’s wedding at The Universal City Hilton and hearing their story. They have really funny things in common like: both only children, both their dads owned a bail bonds business and were named Gary. They met at a party and one month later, he deployed. He’s been to Iraq two times. They had a long distance relationship for four years and here they are! My favorite thing about this wedding was during the toasts, one of the bridesmaids shouted out, “Thanks for serving our country!” and everyone got up and applauded. It was really an awesome moment I’ll never forget.
